Greetings to Friends and Neighbors of Lantern Farms,
A sure sign of Spring was our first Tornado Warning at 3 am last night! :-o! Sherry and I were up in a flash; actually she was up in a flash, it took me one flush, then I grabbed our Schnoodle Bailey to save his little life. By then, Sherry was downstairs, flashlight in hand, tuned into the Weather Channel and making a Safe Room in the downstairs bathroom.
Thanks to God it all turned out well. However, we should never miss an chance to thank the ones we love and send up Prayers of Thanks However We May that all of ours is safe and sound.
Daffodils are pushing up like children from under the covers and the birds sing lusty and loud outside the window. Days are longer, mornings of frost are shorter as we ease into another season of New Life. Our homes are stretching and shaking their 30-year old bones and ready for new mulch, clean gutters, lawn chairs and trimmed trees. Gardens and strollers will gain new attention and as the temps go up as our heating bills go down. AAHHH!
Another sign of spring is our Lantern Farms Property Owners Association Annual Meeting. As I mentioned last year, we are moving the meeting up and actually have April 19, 2022 reserved at the Delaware Township Meeting Hall on 131st St. Peter as our Logistics Coordinator and has set things up nicely for the meeting. Nicole as our Treasurer is preparing Statements of Dues to go out this month, along with proxy notices for each of our 85 homes. Cheri as our Vice President has been prepping our Landscape Contractor with expectations of keeping our entranceways as attractive as always, Jeff is pulling up last year's notes from the 2021 Annual meeting to include in the mailings as well. Garth has stepped into the Architectural Committee role quite well and Hatem continues to keep us in touch with the City of Fishers as needed.
Th board will be getting together prior to our annual meeting to make sure all works well.
So please take this as your notice of the upcoming annual meeting on April 19, mailings will be going out within the next couple of weeks pertaining to dues, proxy, meeting notes and a helpful neighborly tip sheet to keep Lantern Farms the envy of all and the King's Jewel in Fishers Crown.
