Message from the Board
Lantern Farms HOA President Message Hello, to fellow Lantern Farms homeowners! I am Mike Treacy, the new Lantern Farms HOA President. I am writing to introduce myself, and provide some personal information about about myself. My wife, Jane, and I have lived in Lantern Farms since January 10, 1992. We have raised four children here, who since then, moved on, to live their own adult lives. This is the second time, I have been the Lantern Farms HOA President. My first term was from 2019 - 2020. I stepped down as President, in August of 2020. I have also been the HOA's Secretary from 2018 - 2019. I retired from the property and casualty insurance business in April 2020. Jane and I live at 8574 Laurel Ct. We have experienced changes living in Lantern Farms. For instance, since this neighborhood was developed, there have been homeowners moving out, and new homeowners moving in. In the last few years, homeowners (Baby Boomers), have moved towards downsizing in their lives. Homeowners in their 30s - 40s, have purchased these homes. New generations of families are calling Lantern Farms home. The HOA Board/Committees, have already been discussing with each other, some are face to face meetings. We have been discussing a variety of HOA topics including Landscaping, updating the HOA's written documents, reviewing potential plans that would involve applying for a Fishers Matching Grant. Fishers have been offering these the last few years. Utilization of the HOA's web page: lanternfarms.org. We encourage you to check it out. You will find annual homeowner meeting minutes, budgetary information, homeowner contact information, calendar of events. You can also contact Board members with questions, concerns, additions to a homeowners property,(Architectural Committee request) as examples. We will respond to you asap. I will periodically send out a messages with Lantern Farms updates. The Board consists Tom Spille (VP), Nicole Buchan (Treasurer), Eitan Gordon (Secretary), Amie Flowers (At Large), Cheri Johnsen (At Large), Steve Narde (At Large). Besides myself, feel free to contact any member(s) with your requests. All of us, homeowners, are part of the Lantern Farms neighborhood. Working together, to help keep market values in our neighborhood competitive with other comparable neighborhoods. I look forward to being the HOA President, helping to facilitate for all of us, our neighborhood goals. Thank you! Mike Treacy
