Be That As It May

Lantern Farms was born about 30 years ago and has since become one of the nicest and most sought-after neighborhoods in Fishers. We all want this to be the best community for our families, and the Lantern Farms Property Owners Association is committed to maintaining that standard any way we can.

These are standards that have been set down within our By Laws and Code of Restrictions that we each signed on to when we bought our homes. These are all put in place with the design to keep our homes and our neighborhood in top form and at the highest value.

For Example Section 3 and Subsection H. states: "The owner of any lot in the Development shall at all times maintain the lot and any improvements situated thereon in such a manner as to prevent the lot or improvements from becoming unsightly."

This goes on to include mowing of lawns, removal of dead trees and limbs, clearing out and cutting down weeds, using new materials for landscaping and construction and the maintenance of exterior portions of the home.

This very high standard is being very well maintained by most every neighbor, except for maybe a few homes. If you look across your own property, ask yourself if these standards are evident in your own home and yard. Let you be the judge first. I believe that most people would give a nod of approval, a few of us may not.

Please make sure your home exhibits the highest quality of the fine family that resides inside. We all do so much to take care of our own, let this be reflected in our property as well; make this a show-off moment to all our neighbors and to any who drive through Lantern Farms.

We have so many families who want to improve upon their homes as well. Whether you want to initiate a great landscaping project, build a deck, add on a room, driveway extension, build a pool, you must submit an Application to our Architectural Committee for review. These applications are to be found on our website.

Please make yourself familiar with the By Laws and Restrictions. These are actually tools, measures needed to build upon and maintain Lantern Farms, the nicest and most sought-after neighborhood in Fishers and beyond.
