It was a sight to see and a moment to remember. A crescent moon of chairs filled out the cul-de-sac with smiling, chatting neighbors sharing food, fun, drink and new memories. Children played at games and flitted about like faeries between the greenery. Live music from the Best Driveway Band this side of Conner Prairie rose to the sky and of course a bevy of hot and cold food on the buffet was raised up by fork and spoon alike.
Thanks to neighbor Carolyn, Barb and Sonia on our Social Committee for spear-heading our first Lantern Farms gathering in many a year. We always thank Steve our WebMaster, praise to the Ratcliffs for allowing us to use their driveway and yard, live music by David, Chris and Jay and our own VP Danielle and her children for setting up games.
We also have coming up the Lantern Farms Garage Sale on September 15-16. This is a great way to clean out the garage and get out and about the neighborhood as well.
These folks invested much time and effort that brought a rich return of fun and family time that will long be remembered.
