I woke early the other morning, stepped outside like a child to test the dew. The lawn was soft and wet as breath on a chilled window, grass tickling my toes, peach blossoms blessing my nose and turtle doves laying a soft song on the wind. The hot cup of morning "Joe" was fantastic!
We each should take a morning moment whenever we can. I looked forward then to the coming week, to wrap my head around meetings, chores, family events, finances and maybe a smidge of fun in between.
Our board will be meeting as a team soon to reflect upon the past year and strategize for the upcoming months. We will be looking at any needed projects for public property maintenance and address any concerns that have been brought to us by neighbors recently.
We still have eight neighbors who have not paid their $200 annual dues. The last day for payment to avoid a $24 late fee was today, 5/15/23 but I have moved that back to this Friday 5/19/23 to give me a chance to contact each neighbor and find out what may be the problem and see what I can do to help.
As I said earlier, I am excited to share this new year with several new board members and always look forward to a friendly wave whenever a neighbor drives by.
Thanks for the moment of your time and have a Blessed Day!
