Oh, What a Year We’ve Had

Good Morning, Good Day and Good Evening to Lantern Farms Friends and Neighbors,

It was a little over a year ago that we all met for our Annual Meeting during hard quarantine and difficult times during the summer of 2020.  That was the year that we told to not let the screen door slam its rear upon its way out.  Since then we have seen a stronger economy and job market a remarkable sellers housing market and some normalcy returning to the work places and our schools.

The other side of reality is we have had many closed businesses, a difficult housing market for buyers and still questions on the future of how it will all work out with work places and schools.

However, when has there ever been a guarantee?

Every day is a new day and we all get back to it each and every morning.  This includes getting ready for our Lantern Farms Property Owners Association Annual Meeting tomorrow August 10, 2021 at the Delaware Township Building right down the road.  We will be discussing updates on our neighborhood as per every year.  The most important opportunity I see is the chance to meet as many of our neighbors as possible during a face-to-face sit down together.  This is a rare moment and I pray we can make the best of it.

Time moves on:  the Olympics are over (for maybe six months), I caught a whiff of Autumn Air as it moved a yellow leaf from our willow, the children are a bit taller as they look out for the bus and each of us are a bit more hopeful and a lot more appreciative of each other.

Please join us at the Annual Meeting, bring a neighbor or at least bring their signed and date proxy.  You have each received one in the mail and can download and print another from the documents center on our website.  We all need to be there for each other.

Hope To See You To Start a New Year!

John Riggio President Lantern Farms Property Owners Association
